I went to the hospital yesterday and the doctor confirmed what Sally's beent saying for years, a lot of my pain and stuff is caused by fibromyalgia. He thinks this is all part of the ME, and there isn't really much that can be done, but he says Tai Chi or that sort of thing may help. I'm tired, I need to do my homework for tomorrow but I can't concentrate, so I might go put phoebe and a webcam in a box, then we'll know the answer. I want to sleep, I should do homework but I might sleep anyway. I've just finished Mr Darcy, Vampyr. This was a strange book. That's about it really, I saw a few red squirrels on Friday, and got some more new shoes (from my mum this time) Phoebe is sat right next to the bird cage sniffing it. I wonder if this will lead to disaster. |

I'm depressed and want to eat junk food. Yummy yummy junk food. Also trying to lose weight though. Decisions decisions. Which will make me happier in the long run? - Losing weight. Yummy yummy junk food. Eating less and healtier is cheaper than eating junk food. Yummy yummy junk food. Will eating junk food make me more depressed because I will put on weight? - Probably. Yummy yummy junk food.
It's been 1 week and I have 7 more months of this :( |

Psychocat has suddenly turned into a lapcat. We've had her for over a month now, and she used to cuddle up next to us, but she's suddenly started sitting on me all the time now. Luckily she's very small and isn't heavy. She gets her last jabs next week but I don't know whether to let her out or not, don't want her running away and not sure if she's settled enough. ION my nan bought me lovely new shoes on Saturday. |

So Ian left yesterday. He's gone for 7 months and we can't afford for me to go over there or him to visit here, so I won't see him until May. We'll get to talk on MSN or Skype but I'm going to miss him so much. He seems to be having fun and going off to the beach, and I'm sat here crying :P I guess I'm glad he's enjoying himself and I'm sure I'll get used to him not being here. |

Hello my lovely friends and whatnot! ( Stuff ) |
| » Cat |
We're getting a cat! We went to see a cat this evening, that's being fostered for the local cat's protection league. The cat was everything that I wanted, playful and a lapcat, but I just didn't fall in love with it. I hope they will understand and let me go see other cats. We're looking for a lap cat that's around 3 years old or less hopefully. Such a shame about the one we just saw, but it didn't feel right :(

| » New Handbag |
My nan and mum have just bought be a new handbag for my birthday next week! It is very very lovely. Unfortunatly Ian does not like handbags, and thinks I have far too many already, and if he even had a clue about how much this bag cost he would have a fit.
So, here are the possible senarios
1. I tell the truth, that my nan and mum bought it and try to change the conversation if he asks how much it was. 2. He doesn't notice it's a new bag, just assumes it's one I've had before (I have done this in the past when I've bought one that looks vaugly like one I already had, I just swapped them and hid the old one) 3. I say I got it from a charity shop. 4. I leave him and stay with the new bag. 5. I point out that he didn't have to come shopping for it and that unlike one of the men in the shop he wasn't stood there carrying bags whilst his partner went round finding all of the ones she liked.

| » This weekend |
It's been quite a good bank holiday weekend. On saturday we went to test drive a new car, they're going to buy the Prius from us and we should hopefully get the new car in a few weeks, though we'll miss Car, getting the new car on motability will be so much cheaper. Is there anyone who knows someone with a motability car that I can say advised me to get one, they'll get £25 for it I think. Ian was out on Sunday, so I spent the day in the garden drinking wine and reading and listening to the grand prix, then we had a lovely bbq next door, where I drank even more wine. Today I spent the day working at Ian's! They had an open day and I said I'd help. I didn't get paid for it or anything, but they may have a part time job available soon (4 hours a week) and it would be ideal for me, so I thought if I helped today they could see how great I was :) It was hardly hard work, I sat on reception with the boss' daughter and sold tickets for the activities that were going on, even so I am now exhausted. Tommorow we're off to sign for the new car and finalise it, so if anyone does want £25 they'll need to contact me soon, and give me some details on the person who has a motability car (not in the thread of course :)

I really want a nintendo DSI, but having given up work and such there is no way we can afford one. So, trawling through the internet for ways to win one, I stumbled accross Game, and found a competition to win one! All I have to do is dress a pet or toy up as a pokemon, take a photo of it and send it to them. My options are Caedee, or the cockatiel Buddy. Actually Buddy is yellow, I'm sure we can make him look like Pikachu without too much trouble. Anyone got any plans of how to turn a poor defenseless pet into a DSI? Ian's just pointed out that everyone is going to go for Pikachu, but I don't want one that's too random and unknown. Please help me get a DSI and I'll be good forever, I promise! Also, how do I get the pictures of cats as my mood rather than the faces?

My doggy has just been diagnosed with diabetes :( She's going to the vets tomorrow to have more tests, make sure she's not allergic to insulin and that sort of thing, and then she'll have to have 2 injections a day from now on. She's getting quite old now, 13 in November, I hope she'll be ok. My poor lovely doggy :(

| » My workmates are all boring. |
So, it's halloween, we're told to dress up or bring something halloween related. So I dress up, only a dress and a hat (which I haven't worn) and come to work. Is everyone else dressed up? Are they buggery. Do I feel like an idiot? Yes, I do rather.
I knew most people wouldn't dress up, but the day was organised by a new-ish girl who may not have known how boring most of the people are here, so I though I would dress up because she was sure to and she'd feel like an idiot if she was the only one dressed up. Oh look, she didn't get dressed up either.
So here's me, in a velvet dress surrounded by people in jeans.
Ah well, at least it's warm.

| » Jobs and stuff |
I went for a job interview at RAF Lyneham today. I don't know how it went, I answered all of their questions, and they seemed happy with my answers, but I'm now thinking of all the things I should have said. Ah well, at least it didn't go badly. If I get the job they'll need to see my GCSE certificates as proof that I have the qualifications required, but I never collected them from school so didn't have them. I emailed the school yesterday to see if they could find the examination boards that the different subjects were taken though, so I could pay shed loads to get copies and I got an email back today saying they still had my certificates! Mum went and picked them up today, normally they only keep them for about 5 years, but for some unknown reason they still had mind after 14 years! Which is great, because that's saved lots of money. Hopefully now I'll get the job, and that the security check won't take years.
